Hi
I'm trying to re-install my OP-X pro and the plugin has installed fine but I'm trying to install all the extra banks.
I dumped the FXP's into 'drop installers here' and pressed the instal button, but now they have gotten stuck in the 'in progress' folder.
I've tried to copy them again to the 'drop installers here' folder and the button lights up saying there is 47 files to install but when I click on it, it does nothing.
I've tried dumping the files in the 'in progress' folder but I don't have permission to delete from there.
Any clues?
Cheers
installing the FXP patches

I had this problem a long time ago with my RevB and Muse send me a "fix stuck FXB" program that I had to put in "drop installers here" and run ever so often to get around this. Got to be a real pain, though. It went away for me either with OS 1.5 or with RevC update.ksiragusa wrote:Hi

Anyway, I think if you get root access (see http://ogg.kicks-ass.net/receptor) you should be able to clear out the "In Progress" folder and be good to go. My guess is that's all the fixer program from Muse was doing anyway.
If you are technically inclined, I highly recommended setting up remote root access via ssh and using something like putty from the PC. There are SO many little problems like this that can often be fixed by deleting files, chmod'ing a dir, etc. Not to mention running windows installers via Wine like is documented here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=179044

Thanks Hybernation
I've sent them a ticket but being saturday I guess I'll have to wait a bit.
The other strange thing is, is that I'm having problems with the M-Tron patches as well. I bought the package from plugorama that includes the 3 tape banks, and while the patches show up in the receptor system, they aren't available through the plugin itself. So I can't actually get them.
I'm doing this on OS 1.6 on a rev C, and didn't have these problems on OS 1.5. It is more than likely something I have done though.

I had MAJOR problems with MTron on my RevC OS 1.6. I think I ended up having to install/uninstall several times. In the end, the last install SAID "fatal error", but the VST, all the sound banks, and the patches appeared to be there. Weird.ksiragusa wrote:Thanks Hybernation

The only way I EVER got it to install on RevB was to ssh in a root and manually uninstall some rpm packages (and i can't remember how I figured that out, obviously something in the log). What a pain!
But it does have "the sound"
