Hi, does anyone know if Jamstix works on receptor? This would be a perfect drumming companion for my receptor. www.rayzoon.com
Many Thanks
Phil.

I was using JS1 inside Phrazor on Receptor. I needed Phrazor because Receptor did not provide transport controls (start, stop, tempo). Phrazor also provided presets (for loading different kits).
JS2 (just released) does not work on Receptor, and that was my main interest during beta testing. We didn't get that solved yet, but you can be confident that Ralph will keep at it, now that JS2 is released.

Interesting info, thanks Gregh. Does Phrazor Hosting work well on Receptor, I thought the development for Phrazor had stopped. I have jamstix 1.8 will that work on receptor with Phrazor?

I'm using build 1891 of JS1, with the full folder structure in the Receptor \Samples\jamstix folder, and just the DLLs in the \Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported Plugins\Rayzoon\jamstix folder.
Phrazor 1.03 DLLs are in \Program Files\VST Plugins\Unsupported Plugins\SonicBytes, and in the same folder "Phrazor.ini" contains:
path=C:\Samples\Sonicbytes\Phrazor
and that folder contains the full Phrazor package.
The GUIs of these two are a bit slow on Receptor, and I'm not sure about long-term gigging stability, at least on my Receptor Rev B. You'll also want to make sure that Phrazor's master level meters don't peak into the red, since that high level seems to crash Receptor (possibly numeric overflow).

Cheers Gregh. I might have a look at this, but it's interesting you say it may not be stable live because thats exactly where I was headed. I will still try though, I guess you can't beat a good old MPC eh? I think I will have to settle for having one of those to trigger my drums. What a shame..

The long-term stability of that setup is unknown to me because I have not gigged with it regularly - I didn't want to make a claim without experience to back it up. Most of my low-key solo gigs don't require Receptor - yet...
But I ran it continuously for a couple of hours last night, with JS1 inside Phrazor, and Guitar Rig on channel 2 and Korg Wavestation on 3. The CPU of my RevB (64 byte buffers at 44.1kHz) was at about 65% with peaks to 100% and some audio artifacts audible on the drums, so that setup was too much for my Receptor's CPU, although JS1/Phrazor was OK without the other VSTs running. I didn't try it on the newer Pro-400 units I have in stock, but they should be able to run the whole setup nicely.
I think it's worth it for you to try it out for yourself.
