Wow, I'm really excited about all the new features in OS 1.6 and since all my Macs are multiprocessor machines, I wondered if there is MacOSX multiprocessor support yet.
Thanks, -Vincent

Vincent...you can remote in from your Mac Windows or Linux machines with no issues...the Receptor doesn't 'use' the processor of another machine...it is fixed with it's own Linux OS and AMD processors. Hope that helps.

What about when running the AU version of the receptor plug in within a host sequencer like Digital Performer on a Quad processor machine?

it operates as a plugin...Receptor runs on its own and interacts with your machine...almost as if it were VST or regular AU software. This works using Uniwire to connect to your Mac via Cat5 network cable. pretty simple but it is independent of which processor you have on your host machine. Obviously a Quad processor has many other performance benefits though, so you are good to go with these two. Receptor just takes the load off of your DAW machine and use it's own processors to manage up to 16 other VST plugins.

Right, I understand how it works, but I don't understand why there is an issue with it being multiprocessor compatiable... Does that mean that the Uniwire plug in won't work on a MultiProcessor machine, or it will work, but can't take advantage of using multiprocessors?
