Play Button Issue - pr8.4

I've just recently downloaded the latest version of Luna Free and I'm having an odd error on both a TiBook 1GHz ppc (10.4. and an Intel 3.0 Quad (10.4.10). On both, the play button does not function. I can't get any sequence to play either by pressing play or by hitting the spacebar.

I've trashed preferences (com.mutools.luna.plist) and tried reinstalling from the download. I've also rescanned my plugins. Any thoughts on what might be the issue here? I should note that I have had earlier version of Luna installed.

I think that means your audio outs aren't connected - i.e. no ASIO driver selected.

I tried a few more things and it appears that you need to reselect your audio device after you open Luna - even if you select the device during setup. So, yes, Luna thought that there was no audio device selected - even though I had chosen one during setup.

Ok I think I've been having the same problem as the other guy, every time I click the play button, nothing happens, it doesn't even press in. I've gone edit -> MIDI setup, I can't select anything for input (irrelevant anyway) and for output I can have nothing or Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth.
Is this what I need to change or is it somewhere else??

Goto MU.LAB's Edit menu -> Audio Setup, there choose an ASIO driver.

If you don't have an ASIO driver for your soundcard, try ASIO4ALL : http://www.asio4all.com

Isn't ASIO windows only? I appears to me dven owns two Macs, so it would b some sort of core audio thing.
