Mu Technologies vs. Mutools? These names are not even that similar unless I have missed something. Having the same letters or even a same syllable in a name doesn't seem something to get excited over.
Now on the other hand, if someone steals the likeness or a patented function or exact brand name of your product its a different matter, but I did not observe that here.
Back to minding my own business now...

Concerning similarity: i think there is quite some (not in a dramatic way or so) similarity:
MUTOOLS having products like MU.LAB, MU.VERB, MU.SYNTH, MU.X, ... (all in the pipeline
)Mu Technologies having products like Mu Voice, ...
You can't deny the similarity, right?
But again, nothing "wrong" with that.
Though as a producer (of software in this case) i prefer products to have enough uniqueness.
And the name is an important part of a product.
