Thanx for the notice. Gotta check it out.bmanic wrote:Hmm.. well, I couldn't get it to sound anywhere close to the old 0.4 version of TubeMaximizer (which is by far the best sounding version IMHO). Oh well.. it doesn't really need any "fixing" so I guess v0.4 TubeMaximizer will become another one of my 'secret weapons' in the studio.NickCrow wrote:About TubeMaximizer:
New version TubeDriver have all the functions and characteristics of TubeMaximizer too.
Cheers!

That's a nice thing, Nick. But... it still doesn't tell me whether or not it's back to the sound from 0.76 and what the CPU usage is.
Would love to is someone can shed some light on this. Maybe Kingston and bmanic?
And what about this one? Is this discarted now?

ok, but what is the point in making the GUI yourself if the other one looks 10 times better? congrats for the sound though.NickCrow wrote:TSV GUI is excellent, but now i want to made GUI design myself.

I like the TSV gui better, but i respect & i can understand his choice, it is his "baby" and he might want to do it 100%.AKJ wrote:ok, but what is the point in making the GUI yourself if the other one looks 10 times better?

I know what you mean about wanting to do it 100% from start to finish but the TSV Gui has GOT to go on there, the sound of the plugin deserves a great Gui, and as much effort as I know you probably put into the gui I think the tsv one would do the sound justice

yes indeed i find it very interesting how it can relate to the perceived sound.
