Drum controllers for BFD on Receptor?

I am curious to know if anyone is using an existing electronic drum kit to trigger the likes of BFD. Alesis, for example, have recently released the DM5 Pro kit with real heads as opposed to rubber pads, which in my experience are inadequate in terms of dynamics and sensitivity. How do such controllers perform, from a drummer's point of view?

They use the Alesis.

But if you can pickup a no longer produced ddrum4 brain - it has incredible triggering. With the ddrum precision pads you have pressure (polyAT - bass, snare, cymbals), and hit zone sensing - edge to center, bell to rim (via different midi note). Very realistic.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty happy with my TD-6SW kit triggering Battery3 on Receptor. when run at 64 buffer, it's very responsive. Granted the mesh snare is more responsive than the rubber pad toms, but with minimal sensitivity tweaking on the TD-6V brain I was able to get it "just right" for my playing.
