Hello there,
Sure im overlooking something really basic but i cannot seem to get this happening. A bit about our setup: recording and MIDI input are all done on a Nuendo system, of which the receptor is a part. Monitoring, recording of MIDI parts and eventual mixdown is done on a separate, synced Pro Tools HD system. So the receptor is basically used like an external sampler - no audio routed into Nuendo just the MIDI signals. The outs from receptor are via ADAT into the PT system. No problems triggering Kontakt. Also no problem if i have separate instances of Kontakt loaded on separate channels on the receptor and then route those channels to the various ADAT outs.
But how do get a Kontakt multi with multiple instruments loaded on one channel playing out of various ADAT outputs. OK, so I setup my outputs within Kontakt - i can separate everything there no worries. But basically if those outputs are set to anyhting other than plugin output #1 or #2 i get nothing going out of the receptor. I tried to set up the receptor routing so that for example, channel one, sends out on all ADAT channels but this just duplicates whatver is going out plugin output 1 & 2 in Kontakt. Does this make any sense?
So how do i get my multis loaded on one channel but with separate outs. Am getting sick of having to load 10 instances of Kontakt. Not sure if im going wrong with the Kontakt setup or the receptor setup.
Cheers,
James

You have to assign each output from Kontakt to a channel of it's own in the Receptor mixer and then route that channel to your desired ADAT output.
Load Kontakt on Receptor Channel 1 for example, and on Channel 2 select your output from Kontakt 2 (last in the source list under PLUGIN AUDIO FEEDS).
Output 1 & 2 from Kontakt I believe always feeds to whatever channel your Kontakt is loaded in. So there's no need to select the first two as an audio feed.
