OK. :D Glad you like the red one because I've got another edit finished using the Wood skin. :hihi: Gotta run to a Doctor's appointment but I'll post another screenshot and send you the files in a few hours. Cheers.

Having some technical difficulties. On the red button version of the Cool Wood edit the pads stay stuck down when I load a sample into that slot. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Also does a skin folder have to be named dk+skin? One more, I notice the .bmp for the pattern selector letters is blue yet on the gui it's red. Is there a way to change that or is it something I'm doing wrong as well?

EDIT:I notice the pads stay down when a sample is inserted in a slot on the original Cool Wood skin as well. Shouldn't the pad stay raised even when a sample is inserted? Only when clicked by the mouse or played by a midi keyboard they should depress no?

EDIT-2 Here's a screenshot to explain. The pad on the left has a sample loaded and stays in the depressed position. The pad on the right has no sample loaded and is in the "up" position. In my opinion the pads should stay up unless when "pressed".

EDIT: Or I could just sit down and shut up. :hihi: The more I think about it, if the pad has to stay down at some point it should stay down when the slot is empty. That way when a sample is loaded the pad pops up and you see at a glance which pads have samples. Easier to mouse click a pad when it's in the up position. Ehhh nodody gives a flying fu............Anyway you guys remember an acoustic kit named "Bat Ambient" or Franky D kit that was available for download at KVR some time ago? I put together a kit using those samples last night and with DK+'s built in Comps it came out quite nice. Don't know if I would be allowed to share the kit samples since Franky D whoever he was seems to have disappeared. I tried e-mailing him a year or more ago and got no response. Would make a nice addition to the online kit library at the DK+ site.

Were any of the original skins e.g. Amoebas one updated for V1.5?

I assume they were? If I hear back from Liqih about the pad question I'll send him the skin files.

Hello.

sorry for the late reply, if you want the pad image reversed you have to reverse the bitmap so far <grin>

maybe in the update if you all (users) agree on a specific behaviour I may change that

Post

Ok I've done that, switched the .bmp around. Now when DK+ loads up empty all the pads are in the down position. Adding a sample makes the pad pop to the up position showing which pads have samples loaded. Pretty cool but it looks kind of funny with all the pads stuck down. What if I just copied the up position to the middle position? You'd still have the full down on "triggered" position with the light. I'll give it a try and see what happens. :D
