Ahh youv found a little bug. Sorry I assumed that most audio workstations have default windows sounds disabled (RME suggestion). I will try it again with the sounds enabled and work around this!

Well it is the most convenient way make 24b files play compact & fast. I choose this simply because IE comes installed on most pc's. It does not actually use any of IE's Internet functionality, It basically uses IE activeX wrap in the background to decode the bit rate. I would have to build a separate program to make it work otherwise (begging the question, why not just use a normal media player?).

thanks for the time & the feedback,

i have windows sounds disabled so i missed that one aswell

i would recommend disabling them if they are enabled on your DAW!

LOL hey subs this one'l be benched till at least January as the other coder I was working with does not have the time right now. I will be personally revisiting this (for my own system) in December so I'll post my progress if I make any.

I'm still a bit confused by the current version of this. Ok, so hitting the ~ key with the mouse over a file will play it THROUGH Windows Media Player? For me, it loads up WMP on the first file, then plays each consecutive file in WMP. The only thing is, sometimes it switches the window to WMP, and sometimes it plays in WMP but BEHIND the current window(in the background)

Is this the proper way this should act? Just making sure.
