With the release of our new Sidekick Electronic Percussions kits, we now have 1143 sounds mapped in kits for the DK+.

The Sidekick set has 285 sounds including 152 with velocity layers for a total of 809 samples (41 MB).

Here are some MP3 examples of real time playing showcasing the possibilities offered by the velocity layers. Each one uses only one sound played at different velocities. Not really great music but they do demonstrate well what can be achieved with the velocity layers:

By special agreement with Pettinhouse, we are offering you an edited version of their drumkits. Both are mapped for the NUSofting DK+ and include the waves files. The samples are trimmed and normalised. This is because the original Battery kits that Andrea designed were taking advantage of its ability to select the starting point of the sample. But this was introducing a delay in the playback with the DK+ and some others samplers that do not have this feature.
