Thank you to every one else also, I do believe that you will enjoy the tone of the new amp? And yes CPU is way down compared to FA2

Right now the amp weighs in at 3.6 - 4.8% depending on the amp\speaker selected on my old athlon 2400+. That is the amp only (will have to do a version that way) Once the FX and everything is added resting CPU will rise a bit, All the switching in this thing uses a few percent.

i'll help you of course, joe. it's always fun to collab with ya.

right now, i'm cranking on pending/unfinished projects. i cant start freeamp 3 ui until i finish the existing workload.

but we will meet have some beers and maybe plug in and jam a bit with the new plug? i'm thinking we will have to step the UI stuff up a few notches. i'd like freeamp3 to exceed freeamp2 in terms of UI/design/graphics/etc.

2 weeks may be stretching it, joe, but we'll see. i really need to finish the orion skin and some side logo work and then i'll be freed up to crank on the next kick ass version.

just wanted to lay a REALLY BIG thank you at your feet, frettedsynth, for freeamp 2; its is my go to guitar (and synth) effects plug in. when i'm looking for a 'sound' thats the first (and often the only) thing i need to doodle with to get what i'm hearing in my head (not to add to the brown nosing, your other product that ive tried are quite good as well, namely your saffron synth). so again, thank you, GREAT work, and looking foward to freeamp 3!

Take your time, After working with this for over a year I could use some time to figure out what it is I really did here anyhow.

Well, the amps in Free Amp have always been called Helian - so how about just Helian Amp...or, to go along with pattonfreak1's line of thinking, Hellian Amp?
