Has anyone successfully gotten SIR to work on the Receptor?
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/736.html
It claims to work via the unsupported method. I have installed SIR, selected it in an insert on an active channel. It seems to pass audio, but then when I try to I get a dialog saying "External exception 80000101" when I try to go into edit mode for the SIR plugin.
Thanks,
Eric

Yes, I have it running. It runs fine except for a couple of little interface buggies.
Expect large latency delays, but I run it on my guitar rig Receptor and can create some very cool sounds using various .wav files for impulses.
You'll have to put your impulse files somewhere on the Receptors HD & point SIR's browser to it.

Eric I am having the same problem. Have you found any solution? Perhaps this is a new bug with 1.6?

Just click past it a couple of times and it will go away. The plugin does work -- it just likes to pop up errors a lot.sproutykeys wrote:Eric I am having the same problem. Have you found any solution? Perhaps this is a new bug with 1.6?

Unfortunately on my machine it locks both the receptor and the remote app.

I'll check again when I get home. I originally thought it was locking the receptor, but later realized I just had to click OK a few more times. I'm running Receptor 1.5, but a friend of mine has SIR running on Receptor 1.6.sproutykeys wrote:Unfortunately on my machine it locks both the receptor and the remote app.
