Hello to all.

A quick question, if I purchase a Muse Receptor in the States / Canada would there be any issues in getting it to work in England. From what I see its just a kettle lead connection (3 pin) at the back but if anyone has had experiences of an import blowing up or something when they plugged it in, it'd be nice to know ;)
I can buy a lot of my own fireworks for the money one of these things will cost me, and in no way is this a comment on grizzlymedia - im just going to be in the states for a while but will be coming back to england.

thanks
mark

I think you'd at least have to swap out the PSU, as the UK (240V) and US/CAN (120V) have different voltage standards.

All you need is a UK cable. The PSU is autoswitching so it doesn't matter where in the world you plug it in.

Hi All,

I don't believe you need to swap out the PSU. I believe Receptor has a 'switching' Power supply. All you really need to do is switch the power cord. I think units shipped in other countries come with the correct power cord - you should check with a local retailer.

Hi MarkMorgan, I got mine from the US and I have never had any problems with the power supply. It runs just fine.
