stuck notes in Sonar, unresponsive to panic button (fixed)

I've got a project running in sonar 6.2.1 and when I stop playback while some sylenth part(s) is playing the notes hang. pushing the panic button turns off sonar's audio engine, but once you turn it back on the stuck notes are still there. seems sylenth does not respond to the panic button in this case. is this a known issue?

i'm using the latest 1.21 indeed.
i've got 3 instances of Sylenth 1 running and note hanging occurs mostly with a sweep sound. when you stop playback whilst "in the middle of the note duration" the note gets stuck. turning sylenth on and off in the vst rack is the only solution.

Do you use a USB interface/controller? And if so, is power management of the USB hubs shut off in device manager (it's enabled by default)?

It does'nt have anything to do with usb power management.
It is how Sonars stop button works. where it does'nt send all notes off message when you click the stop button.
I don't have sylenth but i have the same problem with a few other vsti's.
I complained about it in Sonar 5, and in v6 it is still there

Same here. I don't know if Sonar's stop button sends "all notes off" messages or not, but sending one to all midi channels from my EMU Xboard (panic command), doesn't shut Sylenth1 up either. I have the same problem with Komplexer, but:
- No problems with other synths in Sonar and Project5 (so far, only just converted
)
- No problems with Sylenth1 and Komplexer in other hosts
Perhaps most synths respond to transport/stop (if that's possible at all) and assume "all notes off", but Sylenth1 and Komplexer don't?

I've updated the installer with a fix for the hanging notes problem. The note-off events for the 'all notes off' and sustain pedal messages were sometimes sent to the wrong midi channel. I've also implemented better behavior of the sustain pedal (it should only kill notes that are not being pressed).
You can download the installer from the usual location (if you don't have the link or lost it, email support).
Please let me know if it works!
