lfo still responds to host sequencer clock if "sync" is off

i'm using the Big Ben patch somewhat modified and found out that at 140 bpm it sounds really cool. but the melody i want to play is actually way slower, more like 90 bpm. so i caculated the amount of herz i need for the lfo to be on the same speed as with a synced 1/32 note division at 140. which turned out to be 18.52 herz. I turned of the sync button in sylenth1 (1.21) and tuned the lfo to 18.54 (closest I could get) and enjoyed the sound again. but turning down the host sequencer clock speed still changed the sound of the patch so the lfo still responds to the clock although it doesn't show on the user interface you clearly hear that the sound goes out of tune. since the big ben patch is only in tune at specific lfo frequencies.

Hi, that's right. The reason for that is that if you want an LFO to play at a certain rate in between 2 'synced' values, you would want it to stay in sync when you change the host tempo.

The problem with doing frequency modulation with the LFO is that in this case you would want the rate to be completely independent of the host tempo. So unfortunately the only option currently is to change the rate manually when you change the host tempo (if you keep the Ctrl key pressed you can make finer adjustments btw).

There will be a better implementation of frequency modulation in a future update of Sylenth1, so you don't have to use the LFO's for it anymore for sounds like this.

I finished the song I wrote about. the lead sound you hear is Sylenth1 as well as the sound effect that comes in just after the wind sweep.
