When working on the 4-Way XY Fader patch, I tried to input meaningful values for the XY panes.

Once I clicked on a text field is when the fun started. The text box comes up and is highlighted for text input.

If I try to type, the entire screen starts to flash. I thought my LCD monitor was flaking out at first! :o

I was unable to get out of the text editing mode with any keys, including ESC. The only way I found to get rid of the problem was to close AU Lab with the mouse.

I ended up loading Zebra in the latest Bidule 0.96 and was able to edit the text just fine.

This is on a MacBook with OS X 10.5, AU Lab 2.0.0 (the one that ships on the DVD), and AU Z2.2b6.

Did you try clear? (fn-6 on a macbook.) This works in live, I just had to re-figure this out for the vector thread. In fact that's probably why you ran into this too :).

I use a mac usb keyboard attached to my MacBook. I just tried selecting and pressing the clear key (top left of the number pad) and got the same flashing screen. It's really strange, this didn't happen with 10.4 and AU Lab 1.X.

Hmmm... havn't got Leopard here yet... havn't heard any such report from Applets or Carbonites either...

Apple guys are gonna visit me in two weeks, I'll discuss things then...

Sounds good. I'll just refrain from naming XY pads in AU Labs until then. :P

Just thought I'd mention the same problem happens with the Preset naming box as well. That makes it much more annoying. :(

Don't use AU Lab for now... what about using Main Stage instead?!?

I'm gonna have that problem once I switched (gimme a couple of months) and then it'll be solved quickly. But as long as I can't install Leopard (Adobe issues etc.), I can't debug AU Lab for Apple...

I don't have Logic, it's pretty pricy. I'd like to get main stage if they unbundled it. To bad they won't. :(

It's ok, I'll be able to use bidule as a fairly lightweight AU host for the time being.

Has anyone here tried any u-he plugs on Logic + Leopard?

My Filterscape, Cheeze, and Zebra CM "work", I just cant enter text, which makes it difficult to re-enter my reg-code for filterscape :)
Had no problems in Tiger.
Im confident of a fix soon though :)

iMac G5, 10.5, Logic 8

Actually, it turned out to be a bit more serious than I thought...

I'll issue updates of everything as soon as possible...

Cheers,

;) Urs
