Hey there...
this morning i installed the Cubase 4.1 update and what happens..
Cubase can't find the u-he plugins... the installationsprocess was the same as always....winxp/c:/prog/cub4/vst
is there somebody else with the same problems ?
any ideas?

i know.... windows sucks

I'll update my Cubase 4 later and see what's happening here - I had an email later this morning from Steinberg, but rather about very special issues, nothing as serious as you describe...

Does installing the latest Zebra 2.2 beta make a difference?

Not upgraded to 4.1 yet, I first let the others test!

Does Zebra2 show up in the plugins overview list and is it checked?

Zebra 2 2.1 vst shows up in Cubase 4.1 on my c2d imac, os 10.4.10. There's been talk on the cubase mac forum of trashing the previous cubase preferences to get missing plugins to show up.

bääääääääh i deinstalled cubase 4 completeley... whatever... i reinstalled it, i didn't installed the 4.1 update and what happens?
the same sh** grrrr
no ursn's to find! whadda heck... i could cry because i can't live without zebra n filterscape! life is a mess w/o Ursn's wonderful soft!!!!! that sucks like nothing else... sorry just got to say that now..

Then it's the missing msvcr71.dll - have you done a System recovery maybe?

All future updates will be independent of this, but for now everything before Zebra 2.2 (including Filterscape, MFM preview) requires it... after installing it, you need to erase Cubase's blacklist file...

This should help... let me know if it doesn't!

The only UHE Synth that does not work in Cubase 4.1 on my Comp is Zebralette. When it loads there's a empty gui.

That usually means that the directory for "Scripts" (which contains the gui configuration file) misses "Zebralette.txt" next to "Zebra2.txt" and "ZRev.txt"... for whatever reason... a reinstall (without presets) should solve this...
