Yeah, just edited my message after I noticed SM mentioned in the manual.

Post

the finger-cursor also gives it away... :-)

Seems to be quite a decent plugin and not too heavy for what it does - it tried it on drums and it gave them a more 'roomy' feeling. :-D

Post

So SM is better than SE ? :hihi:
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Yes, obviously it is.

:hihi:

I think SM = longer to load, SE = more CPU. Generally speaking.

I wouldn't agree with that, but I won't pursue that thought, else we might fall into that 'here we go again' trap.

Just a message to say that this thing is great :D. I'll keep it on my arsenal and it may become a go-to plugins for my drums mixing.

I used it to "add something" to my drums and after applying the effect, the drums sat better in the mix and had that missing some punch and wideness. It made my snare and hats more present and made my kick punchier.

This made the things sound better (that's what I hoped tough :D).

I'm in for the others plugins of the series ^^.

I've been trying out my barnyard of transient shapers all week and this one is very nice so far.

I can't beleive it took 8 pages before somebody tried this thing out (or that I read the 8 pages)...we got 'dem ole SE dyin Synthmaker Blues...and other issues to be worked out soon enough!

Anyways - very nice plugin bootsy. Rescue stands up against some big names IMO. I've got it in a 2-band Ozone3 crossover (x at 500Hz) and began with Rescue on the highs. The audio is a mono acoustic guitar/vocal from reel-to-reel I'm remastering and needed some Transient Mechanics. Nice... :tu:

Ok - now where were we... :D

It sounds cool with just the analog button on. It clears up the midrange. I would ask if it's anything more than just an EQ, but I guess he refuses to answer questions???

Yeah, I don't want to start anything, but that's very generally what I've experienced, although I think it's a fact that SM-made plugins open slowly. I'm sure most of the CPU use is up to the quality of coding, etc.

Interesting plug...but would be a lot easier to evaluate and A/B if the volume control wasn't hard wired to be 'on' regardless of the power switches status...

Post

This Plug's got some Good Vintage vibes going on. I would of included a Bypass switch for it though, so you can here the difference between Wet and Dry. Why the Power switch if it doesn't even work? You can turn the Power off and the plug still processes the signal. 8)
