Issues with buying a used receptor?

Hi Everyone,

I'm wondering if there are issues with buying a used receptor and then loading the software/plugins I need. I'm a drummer and the Freddy and other preloaded receptors retail for over $2600. I can buy a used receptor for around $1300-1500. I think I only need around $500 of software at retail pricing. So I'm wondering whether I can just buy a used receptor and load it myself. Are there any issues with tranfering ownership that come up? I want to play around with the thing an then really decide whether it's going to work for me, so I want to minimize my cash outlay. Thanks!

Transferring the Receptor itself should be fine, but if there are iLok plugs involved you may have some headaches. Unfortunately, Muse can't transfer them for you.
