Direct link to the song: noodling at 160 bpm
I put a loop I thought was cool in a track. Sliced out the kick/snare/hats/perc stuff and loaded them to the T2 sampler with ctrl-c / ctrl-v operations. Man that's a cool way to snag samples, but that puny little keyboard to display zones - ouch my eyes hurt.
Did any changes get made to the T3 sampler to make this even easier?
I reprogrammed the beat and supatrigga'ed it to give it a bit of glitch love (dblue glitch in this case didn't work out so well).
Mr. Ray's is the EP through a dope preset in Charsiesis. Superwave P8 for the bass line and trance arp stuff.
I don't normally do this type of music, but I'm interested enough in it to get some constructive criticism on how to evolve it/re-arrange it add/delete to/from it, etc.

Oops, meant to put this in Tracktion in Action. Mod, any way to move it for me?

I can't merge it in. Feel free to cross post it there though.rockstar_not wrote:

No changes made to sampler in T3. It's a shame, cos the sampler really needs some love, especially in light of the quality of inbuilt samplers included with the competition these days.

haven't listened to the tune as I don't have my headphones at work, so I can't comment on it at this time.

Yes it's short because it's just a start. I'm looking for opinions on how to improve upon what I have so far. About an hour's worth of work put into it so far.chicken muffin wrote:listening...hmm i like this. i think some parts could be brought out more. like the synthline and bassline. its really short dude

I'd agree that the bass needs to be more prominent, or more punchy, or both. Like the overall feel, but it starts getting quite sparse near the end. Feels like it needs something to tie it all together.
