Native Instruments FM8

If Komplete can run on Receptor, I would trust that FM8 also works on Receptor. However, I do not see FM8 listed as a supported plugin on Plugorama? I hope this is just an oversight. Can I buy FM8 for my PC and then install it on Receptor?

Yes it can be installed but you have to do it the hard way. I did it by installing on my pc first then duplicating the files in the proper locations on the receptor along with the registry entries. After doing this you use the NI service center app supplied by MUSE and can activate it. If anyone knows an easier way than this please tell. I got Kontakt 2.2.3, Absynth 4, Reaktor 5 and FM8 working in this fashion without a problem.

Now that NI has issued an update for FM8, the method documented here (which worked for Massive, but not GR3 or K3) may very well work:

It's certainly worth a try....so much easier than manually copying files and cloning registry entries!
