Hi there,
I want to mixdown a complete Session to a single wave file.
The session includes only VSTIs and Wav-samples.
This is what I have tried so far:
I highlighted all parts in the session and tried the "mixdown"-thing in the right-click-mouse-menu, like I do to mixdown a single part. But this way does not work here. Only the part under the mouse arrow is renamend to "mixdown".
Do I really have to click on every single Part and change these to the mixdown- "mode" manually, or is there an easier way to bounce a complete session to one wav-file? :help:

greetings,
T. :help:

Select no parts. If the composition has a "decay" after the last part that you want the mixdown to capture, add a dummy part over to the right far enough that you catch it all. Then use mixdown to file. (With no parts selected, it operates on the whole composition.)

You need to use the "Mixdown to Audiofile" in the main "Edit" menu at the top left, not the "Mixdown" in the sequence part context menu.

The "Mixdown" in the sequence part context menu is just for making 1 long sequence for all the loops in that part, so you can edit each loop individually. I admit that this is confusing and so it will be finetuned.
Maybe this function should be called "Unroll Loop".

About the "Mixdown to Audiofile": indeed, when you select no parts, all parts will be included in the audio mixdown, otherwise only the selected parts will be included.

Parts that play an external MIDI instrument are naturally not included in the audio mixdown, as LUNA / MU.LAB doesn't know the audio.

Hope this helps.
