Hey Urs,
I just went to order MFM2, got almost all the way through the process, but when my bank web page loads, I can't get any further without signing up for a "Verified by Visa" account, which I had no plans to do.
So, I can't pay with a Visa card unless I sign up for some credit card program, I think. Is this a problem coming from my bank?

Yes, it's a bank thing. It's a security program to (supposedly) provide additional security when using your VISA card online.
I don't think you can opt out of it, if you want to make VISA transactions online, with payment gateways that support the program.
It's basically a second password that you'll be prompted for when doing an online transaction - so if your card or CC details got stolen, the thieves would not be able to make transactions on your card.
There's nothing to worry about really, just sign up, memorise your password and be done with it - I've had it on my account for a few years now...

Thanks beej! Good information, I was just about to Google and you spared me the trouble 
I didn't want to end up with another credit card or a monthly charge or something. Guess I'll bite the bullet. Gotta have the MFM2.
