Licensing a Pre-Owned Receptor

I purchased a Receptor from Canada and would like to install some of my previously bought plug-ins.
However I did NOT get an iLok with the device, so even if I enter the correct serial number at Plugorama I still cannot register my ownership. I also note that when I type in the correct serial number it says that the receptor 'is already licensed'

Has anyone had experience of this in the past ?

Sounds like you'll need to coordinate the transfer of the receptor serial number with the previous owner and Muse. You could also open a ticket to see if there's anything Muse can do. As for the iLok, best bet is to go and purchase one from a local music shop or online at http://www.ilok.com/ to get your own plugs registered.
