...Wow, wow, wow !!! 8) This is indeed a nice 'toy' ! :D
As I play drums with the Yamaha DD-55, I need a drum sampler that accepts short triggers (the only bad side of those Yamaha pads) and the DK+ is so gentle to do that.

Of course I'll have to make my own drumsets to get the same setup as with my Logic sampler; I use some kind of GM instrument setup.
But it will be worth it !

This drum sampler is very intuitive and easy to use (I just have to check a few details), has more than enough gadgets to blow up the drums and what I love especially : it's not hungry on my cpu !

My words may sound as surprising as : "Napoleon Bonaparte has died", but 'better late than 100 birds in the air', as my uncle Frank used to say...

Cheers and thank you, liqih,

Max... .. . :P

ttoz wrote:actually i explained it, alot of 3rd party LM4 kits use aiff files not wav and dk+ does not read aiff files. That's the issue. So it says that the samples cannot be found
ah right, now I remeber, ok but I told you that DK+ can't read aiff, it's not a bug, and it's of course possible to convert a LM4 aiff kit into and wav kit, I know you told me that are many and huge kits, but so far it's the only way to load a LM4 aiff kit in DK+

The DK+ is indeed a nice drum machine. I will prepare a few fun kits for it next week!

Yes. DK+ is a great sampler. I also use Cakewalk's Velocity and they make a great combo. I just wish there were more drumkits available for it.

Liqui, would it be possible to start a post in this forum with a list of all the drumkits available in DK+ format. I know one can always load the individual WAV files but I'm too lazy. I like prebuilt kits myself.

Here's one I know of, from Zvon

And of course, NuSofting's own Funk Equipment set and Ethno Set.

We have two sets for DK+, and another bunch of drum and percussion samples recently recorded and currently in editing, which will find their way into a variety of formats. The new stuff will probably be out for Battery first, but we're definitely going to do a DK+ set. In the meantime, check out the first 2 volumes:

Hi fac,
Thanks for mentionning it, note that I also have the following commercial sets for the DK+ too: Julie Vocal FX 1 and Scats collection, Prepared Rhodes (demo included with DK+).

On the free side, I also have the Trumpet and IYTTIW Madness kits, well they'not exactly  drums or percussions but they are a lot of fun. These can be downloaded from the Kara-Moon website, here:
