so what you want me to do there??!! <grin>
Going purely from the settings on the alpha using the long snare;

0.750 equals about 3 seconds which I'd say is about the maximum needed.

1.00 seems to equate to 4.5 seconds

Both of these times double if the long snare is already playing but the short snare seems less affected.

This maybe why it's seems so big? One for the beta-testers to check me thinks.

ok got it, yes the SD sample is short

also guys please tell me if you like the new knob design

Post

The new knob design is much better than the old one.

FR: right click on ON button, should solo the channel.
Qw, music from twelve weeks in quarantine is now streaming on spotify and bandcamp. This is a collaboration with the the smallest of worlds VR art project, that documents our living spaces in times of isolation. You can join their project here.

Thanks, since there are only 4 pads, the solo seems not so necessary, no?

Hello,

sending now the upgraded beta, it means that I implemented all the features
for the release, including MIDI learn and Master Chaos with also the "misfiring" thing that fabi asked, multiout 2+4, and changed the SD envelope please read the BDM.rtf included, it's an unedited guide which should be the base for the manual book.

Now we need 4 more PCM samples, the B set, and the default preset bank,
then the VSTi for Windows can be released.

BTW it should be tested in Cubase SX, Sonar, Tracktion, Live, FL Studio,
possibly the latest versions of any host, if current betatesters don't have one or more of those please post the info here and we look for more volunteers.

Thanks.

uffs it was a long day, but a nice one

:hyper: Any idea on the price yet?
blortboret wrote:heh...have to admit I don't have any gameboy experience, but I'll concede that it probably *does* sound a little more like a Weather Report tune on crack than anything that Ornette Coleman ever did
Ditto re experience with melted saxophones, Weather Report & Ornette Coleman

Anyone else having difficulties with the multi outs? I am getting an occasional "pop and then hang" while using the mono outs.

Also, the hit buttons like to stay lit even after the hit has finished. This happens only if using my controller, not via mouse.

Post

the hit buttons also here miss the note off sometimes, I will check

btw the dials lighting red toward full on is very sexy.
+1

strange - I didn't get informed of the latest posts in this thread. :s Else I would have chimed in again, earlier.

I thought I had found a bug, but it turned out it was just the vst that I used to send notes to BDM that was buggy, not BDM itself.

Post

check your PM fabi

bobsled I have a patch ready, which is your e-mail again?

azrael the price for you 6 betatesters is zero but if anyone can afford to donate something of course that helps,

for customers the price should be about the same of DK+, still to fix though

okay, I don't know if this is the same 'pad doesn't notice note-off' bug as mentioned before, but I get it in bidule.
BUT only, if the master chaos is above 50% - so it could be related to the misfiring feature that kicks in above 50%.
if anyone dislikes that feature, please do say so - i don't want to push anything the rest of you hate. but i think if it's left in it would be useful if the pad lights up that gets triggered by accident so you can see more closely what may be going on.
then again, maybe it's good broken as it is. ;)
