There are some attractive offers to upgrade Receptors, including upgrading a version C to a Pro. I'm confused about whether faster RAM is needed to get all the benefits of a Pro processor on a Rev C unit. Here's some of the copy from Muse's website:
"Transfer of RAM from old System to new (Note: Rev C memory will work with this processor upgrade, however because it was designed for a slower processor, you will obtain the same level of performance improvements as with the faster optimized memory available)"
This statement doesn't make much sense to me, and it reads like a typo. Do I need to budget for faster RAM if I do this or not?
Upgrading to Pro - memory?

when i sent them my unit for an upgrade, i specified that they have a look at the 2 gig of ram that i had installed and replace it if it was not suitable for the upgrade. they kept the installed ram as-is.
my receptor pro jr rocks! it's quite stable and fast!

I also think it's a typo. In fact when I read it my mind inserted the word "not" after "you will" and before "obtain".TechEverlasting wrote:There are some attractive offers to upgrade Receptors, including upgrading a version C to a Pro.
