I've tried doing a search for this but couldn't find anything...

Had anyone managed to get this working with Receptor ? Looking on Plugorama - I only see an installation program for Kontakt 2.

I tried K3 and GR3. K3 was a total no-go....GR3 was little better. details in this thread:

Still....I got the email from Muse today talking about another round of upgrades, and the availability of Komplete 5 for receptor. So, THEY must have gotten Kontakt3 to work, huh?

Where are those USER-FREAKING-INSTALLABLE version of Komplete we were promised a long time ago MUSE?!?!?!? Are they EVER coming?

Any response to this ? Probably not as I've noticed as this forum isnt the hotbed of ideas some people seem to think it is.
I can totally sympathise when people like Hybernation point out that while Muse gets a product to work - they may not neccessarily tell us how to get it working.

very 'open source'....

It's disappointing for sure. Looks like they are trying to get a return on investment for working out the Komplete installs. The last thing I heard from Muse was that they were expecting to have an update that would allow windows installers to be run and it was to be out before NAMM. Unfortunately someone sent an email to the Muse list stating it's now looking like March but I'm not sure how accurate the source is.

I don't think we'll know much until NAMM.

There is a post on the Yahoo groups about OS 2.0 and windows installer suport for release in the second quarter.

K3 is not yet user installable. In response to a support query I submitted in early November, someone at Muse wrote this to me:

We are very busy with a project which is new way of installling plugins. One of the first ones will be Kontakt 3 as a test but in the end it will be for any plugin.... My goal is to start haing beta testers try this in Mid December.

Hopefully there will be word of the beta real soon now and word of the next great thing at NAMM this winter. I finally got Kontakt 2 working on Receptor, and am making do with that for the moment...

Question to K3 & Receptor:
K3 is not yet running on Receptor.
K3 includes a lot of new sample materials.
Can be used this new sample material of K3 also with K2 on the Receptor?

as far as I know, you cannot load K3 patches in K2.

K3 IS running on receptor, but only if you have Muse put Komplete5 on there for you.

however - if someone has managed to get Kontakt3 on their receptor - or even the samples in 3 to work in Kontakt2, Id appreciate a PM.
