MuLab through my Digi 001?

Are there any Luna/MuLab users who also use Pro Tools and had success getting Luna/MuLab through their Digi hardware? I know that Jacks won't work and I've tried soundflower and it doesn't work......anyone had success with this. My Cambridge soundworks monitors sound pretty good coming out of my macs' sound out but my Event electronics out of my 001 would sound better! Maybe I just don't have the setup correct.

Doesn't it have a proper Core Audio driver?

Oops, yes, now i saw the info in your first post.Gothboy wrote:Digi 001 with a CAD that came with 6.4.
Does the Digi 001 have a Core Audio driver?
If you launch MU.LAB, and go to its Edit menu -> Audio Setup, do you see the Digi 001 listed as audio device?

No, just the Macs' audio out and soundflower 2ch. and 16ch. but when I choose one of those I get no sound.

OK, so to summarise: when you choose the core audio mac out in mu.lab's audio setup, and you hit play, the sequencer does start playing = you see the line moving, but you don't hear any sound, right?
If so, then we must look where the signal is blocked (maybe inside or outside mu.lab).
So first next question is:
Lets suppose we open MU.LAB Public Beta C's demo session.
Then do you see the level meters go up and down on the Rack Desk?

Let's just clarify the sound out thing: In MuLab>edit>audio setup there are these things listed next to "Core audio device": Built-in audio, Soundflower 2ch. and Soundflower 16ch. With built-n selected I get sound out of the Macs' native audio out but nothing when soundflower is selected. There's no Digi core audio driver listed in there. I believe the 001s' core audio driver would have to be in there for sound to come out of the 001 but how do I get it in there is the question.

I just figured it out and got it working!
Here's how I did it. In the Digidesign application folder there's a file called Digidesign Core Audio setup, If you click twice on that there's a prompt window with a button on it called "supported applications" that let's you add applications to a list of other apps. that already work with the hardware such as Reason Adapted and Ableton Live 2.1, both of which came with the 001 when I bought it. I added MuLab to the list and viola! Sound out of my Digi 001 and main monitor speakers. Also works with Luna Free btw.
I didn't think that this would actually work as I tried to do the same with GleetchLab 2.1 and it just does not work....but MuLab does. You can now put it in the manual that it can work with Digi hardware.....well, at least the 001.

I'm afraid that's question for digidesign.Gothboy wrote:Let's just clarify the sound out thing: In MuLab>edit>audio setup there are these things listed next to "Core audio device": Built-in audio, Soundflower 2ch. and Soundflower 16ch. To be honnest, i don't know whether the digi 001 comes with a Core Audio driver.
A quick walk around on digi's website learns me that the digi 001 is only supported up to OSX 10.3.x, which is still ok for you.
But about the Core Audio driver... i can't immediately find it... maybe it doesn't exist?
About Soundflower: A quick read on the Soundflower webpage teaches me that it's a routing utility. So it won't make sound of itself. You could send the audio from mu.lab to soundflower, but then you must receive that audio somewhere, and then send it there (in the receiving app) to your speakers.
Hope this helps.
