Hi!

Months have run into the land until I wrote the last time. I have to deal with the troubles with FL-Studio and Sylenth1. Is anything going on with a further development of Sylenth1?

Thanx for response.

Yes, I'm working hard on the new Mac compatible version that will also solve the problems with FL Studio at once. This version is a complete rewrite of the code and completely free of SE. Please understand that this involves a LOT of work and thus takes some time. I'm aiming to get it all done during the first quarter of 2008.

Great to see your working hard on this and it feels good to support the smaller companies where a lot of hard work from one guy goes into it :)

*cough* please give it 2 more lfo's and a mod matrix with many more routing options *cough* :D

Great. That's all I wanted to read. I have a song with Sylenth1 but it stucks in the middle of it. So I won't replace it and wait until the new Sylenth1!

I wish you the best!

Keep at it, Lennard. I'm sure already know what a gem you've created, but it won't hurt you to know how loyal we are and how much we appreciate your hard work at creating the BEST F-ING SYNTH OUT THERE!!

Happy New Year!!!

Now give us that goddamn update, mofo! ;)

Any plans of 64 bit VSTi with this new version? I know there aren't many of them yet, but as I'm planning migration to 64bit soon - a 64bit version of the plugin will be a nice bonus.

I am guessing sound compatibility will be broken with a totally non se version..

this will suck!

Or are you keeping the same vst id and all parameters compatible?
I'll do my best to keep everything fully compatible. This will need some work to retrieve the internal SE parameter IDs, but I think I can manage. Even if that wouldn't work out I'll create a conversion tool for the presets, so don't worry :)

What new features are you planing to implement except these^^
Personally I'm hoping for new cool skins like ReFx did with Nexus 'cuz for me it's all about the mood and besides we all know that a superb synth=big sales and superb synth+cool skin=$$$$$$$$

Please do, I'm working very hard on a full 128 soundbank for this synth (spent over month and half solid on it already) and I think you'll really like what i've managed to squeeze out of this thing.

Watch this space... ;)

*edit* If compatability does become a problem, you could always do it like Linplug did it with Albino between vers 2 to 3. That is ver 3 runs alongside ver 2 as seperate instruments. Then if you kept the download for 1.21, people could have both installed!.

no, that's the worst scenario in this case.. because the current version is not quite stable in multi core, and i am suspecting it's that synthedit was used for the gui
After some initial niggles (which seem to be associated with using another fx plug as an insert on the sylenth channel) Sylenth1 has been pretty stable for me on my old dual core with SX3. Is its problems more to do with Quad or higher cores, or with a particular host?

...almost done making my bank :)
