Hi all, there is a wonderful drum prgram called Jamstix, does anyone know if it works on the receptor? http://www.rayzoon.com/index.html

I'm a dealer for both Receptor and Jamstix, and I did get Jamstix version 1 working on Receptor earlier this year. I worked with the developer (Rayzoon) on some of the issues.
JS1 could be used effectively as a sample host (i.e. triggered by drum pads), but 'jamming' modes did not work well. The problem at that time was that Receptor did not have transport controls, so locating to specific bars was not possible (Receptor just kept counting up). I solved this by hosting JS1 inside Phrazor VST on Receptor, but the combined memory/processor load was a bit much (although workable). Receptor now passes MIDI start/stop/continue through to VSTs, but still is not intended as a sequencer-style host.
I also tried Jamstix 2 on Receptor, but there were some issues that made the plugin unable to load. I have not tried recent revisions, but I intend to do so. JS2 has better arrangement capabilities than JS1, so Receptor's lack of a bar locator may be less of an issue with JS2.

I just tried JS2 on Receptor. It restarts Receptor upon installing and there's no info in the log. The developer (Rayzoon) is interested in solving the problem, but would benefit by having hands-on use of a Receptor for a short while. Rayzoon is located in North Carolina - maybe there's a Receptor owner near by willing to help out?
