Hiya,

here's the first of videos...

It shows 5 (ahem, 6, *cough*) samples being looped and modified through 2 MFMs. All fx (looping, ping pong delay, all sorts of filtering and crushing, maximizing, pumping, limiting) are create in those 2 MFMs.

[UPDATE] Youtube:

What do you think? Is it accessible? Can everyone watch this format?

Totem (on Ubuntu) seems to load it but no sound.

Not working with Windows Media Player here. :(

Since I am interested in seeing this video, I will search for an MP4 player online.

*edit* Went with Quicktime Alternative (Media Player Classic) and am able to view the video. Great stuff!

Thanks, will check it out!

Works here with the quick time plugin.

Post

works fine with quicktime on my iMac.

And what a video.

I'd kinda overlooked MFM in the past... This makes me wish I had more money... I'm almost there with my jar of change for filterscape (it has $115 in it at the moment).

VLC plays it fine though :)

Post

Working fine in VLC media player (on XP)

And I thought I didn't need more plugins...
Damn! :D

Hehehe... I just wanted to make a little layout for Grrrl, but she hadn't had time to line up in front of the mike, so, uhm, I left myself in there...

It wasn't intended, but it somehow fits...

Very cool stuff. Seems to me MFM might be really well suited to live shows. Kinda like a kaoss pad on super steroids. :)

Bad ass! I've been playing around with the new X/Y stuff and... well... it's good, real good. Ideal for live tweakage. Thanks a million.

Not to go OT but, will you be at Namm this year?

Yeah... during MusikMesse I usually do a daily half-an-hour live performance with just Zebra's built-in delay. One can do a lot of glitch. MFM2 is way cooler. I usually have a Zebra in front of it and switch presets as I layer the loops...

At first people don't understand what's happening, like, the endless delay part. It's really fun to see their face when they "click" :)

The video had to be shorter of course and more to the point. I also didn't want to distract from MFM by showing a synth or anything. So I just prepared those samples... and off it went 8)

Yeah... Grrrl and I will be there from the eve of 16th (award ceremonies) till morning of 18th...

Dunno if I'll attend the show itself, but we'll definately have drinks with some of the boys... I guess Angus and the crew from FXpansion will be there and we'll try to dry out the tabs of the hotel bars...
