Hello,

After 3 years of conceptual brainstorming, code development, testing, finetuning and debugging, we're happy and proud to finally release MU.LAB 1.0

* Powerful Audio and MIDI Plugin Routing (up to 100% modular if you want)
* Integrated MuSynth: Powerful Modular Sound Engine
* Integrated MUX: Powerful Modular Audio/MIDI Effect Engine

Jo: let me be the first to congratulate you on reaching the formal 1.0 release. While I haven't had a chance to play w/MU.LAB 'cuz it's been a busy fall, based on my experimenting w/LUNA, I'm sure it's an excellent tool and I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl.

Nice work!
Today I put Luna Free in the Trash. It was a good friend this year.

Yo toxicoh, i see you're on a 2 Ghz G5 PPC.

May i ask: when you just play the demo song, how much cpu does it take on that machine?

FYI if give a single click on the cpu meter, it also shows the % value

congratulation! good to see this app done for XMAS :)

edit:
i bet this is one of the best DAWs for the Asus eeePC,
since it is very small and comes with two tiny/simple windows!
can't wait to try this out, when my eee finally arrives. :P

Glad to help:

The Demo.MuSession says 9% idle, 37% when running (It's really small, and hard for me to read..... Using 1440x900).
KraftGroove is 22% idle, 28% running
My own most worked on project with audio/VSTsynths/VST Effects/Musynth/MuVerb gives 30% idle, 33% running

Everything has been working "fine" for me since the last few versions. The only thing I would change is how tracks work with automation. I understand the benefits of selecting targets for automation, but seperate automation tracks (like the demo) can eat up the available 8 quickly. Other hosts (I'm thinking GarageBand08) reveal automation on each instrument track underneath the audio/piano-roll. A different design, I know.

Interesting! I've been clicking on the cpu meter several times just to watch it come/go. Now it's gone, and won't come back. Closing MuLab, and reopening fixed it. Clicking on/off repeatedly did it again. Is it the Skin or MuLab?
