How do you upload a high quality version to youtube? And what program did you use to create the video?
I don't know... it was my first try... I made a 320 x 240 pixels mp4 and uploaded that...

I used Ambrosias SnapzProX to capture the screen and Adobe After Effects for zoom/movement... finally put them to some good use... more to come...

Win version is up as well!

Mac version seems to be working fine on a 2.33GHz MacBook Pro and a 1.83GHz iMac(intel). The install goes through without a hitch.

Thanks for including my presets!

outstanding video

as with all your products, it doesn't seem like there's any limit to how they can be used
and presets barely scratch the surface
I end up tweaking everything for a specific use, but
this 'live' use never occurred to me

but I've been thinking with Filterscape I should be automating changes across a track and obviously the same applies to MFM2

congratulations
do more please, at your plaeasure

Downloaded and tried it. Unfortunately it crashed my Live 7.0.1 session 4-5 times so far.
Some of the times I either add or remove MFM2 from a channel it all goes boom. The times it doesnt go BOOM when added, it works fine.

Here is a excerpt from the dumplog when I added MFM2 to a channel with a sample and a PredatorFX sitting on it already.

Interesting...

Me seems we have another bad luck situation with Live on Macs... I got 4 crash reports and they all happen in Live on MacOS X and they're all related to the gui. The others are related to dragging a new instance of MFM2 onto a loop while it's running... bizarre...

I'll check it out... maybe I can fix it today.

I've been playing with it in Live 6.0.10 PPC for the last twenty minutes or so, without problems, on the masters, on indicvidual tracks, loading/removing it while playing and so on, and haven't had a crash yet.

Perhaps it's a MacIntel thing?

Oh - the compressors in MFM - are they the same as the comps in Z2? I'm really liking MFM for some character compression on drum loops and stuff...

The compressors are *very* different. The stuff in MFM is based on a really long quest for something serious... i.e. on the rumoured development of a u-he dynamics suite (still no dates for that)... take a look at certain screenshots :hihi:

Post

Cool, I wondered if that might be the case. 8)
I'm really liking how they sound...

I'm actually working through various MFM features and doing some presets (which I'll upload here at some point) and it's really great for character compression, ie for things like drum loops, what with the two comps and the other saturation modules. So I'm ending up with a whole bunch of compression presets (which is not what I thought I'd be diong ;) - it's nice to have a library of mangling presets to quickly switch though to inject some interest in something otherwise dull sounding.

Right, I really need to digest that manual...
