If you plan to use sax sounds in your compositions and want to have a
high quality virtual instrument at a reasonable price, your wait is
almost over - SaxLab 2 will be released in January 2008.
SaxLab 2 improves SaxLab in many directions:
- All code has been rewritten in compliance of the other LinPlug
products, hence the same quality standards
- The new engine has more features and more MIDI control
possibilities, including enhancements for both keyboard and breath
controller playing
- All new effects: "Gritty" for growl emulation and new Chorus and
Reverb algorithms
- A brand new sample library with more velocity layers and longer
loops. For example, the old Alto Sax set was 5.7 MB, the new one is
69.2 MB
