Also. Is it possible to make the steps moveable. I mean the whole picture. If I could drag it to the left or right without touching steps. Let's say that I have 8 steps and only one, 7th is raised to the max. So I press a button or drag it to the left and the step become 6th and so on. And if that could be a target for modulation I'd shit myself and all around me.

This has probably been requested before but I would really love to see some context menu entry for all XY-assignable parameter to quickly assign them to one of the eight possible XY-controls.
Something like:
Assign to X1
Assign to Y1
Assign to X2
...
Clicking the entry would then assign the parameter to a free slot of the specified control.
Also a function to enable/disable an XY slot without loosing it's settings would be handy (like double clicking a module).
And this one doesn't matter much but I find it at least a bit strange that the context menu in the XY-controls pane comes up on a left click while everywhere else it is activated through a right click.
Anyways, thank you for a great product Urs

What I'm missing sometimes is highlighting of modulation. When having almost all slots filled with modulators I sometimes waste minutes looking what else that (LFO1 for instance) could be modulating. It would be awsome when draging mouse over LFO1 or activating it (clicking on it) to see all slots where LFO1 is set to glow in red or something ilke that.

Workaround: Deactivate modules one by one and see which LFO/envelopes disappear. For MSEG, see when it refuses to be triggered.chaoticz wrote:What I'm missing sometimes is highlighting of modulation. I was going to request that the arp be able to load and save, but I just noticed that there's no way to get midi out from it, so I guess I will still to racks of arps in Live...

Seriously, if the Arp has preset loading & midi, I bet alot of Z2 owners would love a stand alone version as well!
One very cool feature would be if the arp had step mode, so that it only took a step for each key played (kind of like the Zebra demo mode).

+1 like the sequencer on the DSI PolyEvolver!kodama wrote:One very cool feature would be if the arp had step mode, so that it only took a step for each key played (kind of like the Zebra demo mode).

Interesting. Could be used as a pseudo "round robin" offset for various parameterskodama wrote:One very cool feature would be if the arp had step mode, so that it only took a step for each key played

That's exactly what I'm doing. But I've been thinking again about osc's tabs. If there's something modulated in the tab not currently shown there's no point in this glow thing. Though it could glow some other color therefore showing that something is modulated in the other tab.Howard wrote: Workaround: Deactivate modules one by one and see which LFO/envelopes disappear. Yeah, there was a synthedit synth that could cycle through waveforms on each note on and it was a cool, musical feeling cycling through a different setting on each note.Howard wrote:Interesting.
