Could I have you guys' thoughts on the Sampletank 2.5 Exclusive Bonus Disk? I think it looks cool, and I'm thinking about getting it. Can you tell me more details than the website gives? What ethnic instruments are in it? What orchestral sounds?

How does one even get the bonus disk? I'm not seeing anything on the website or in the download area.

The web-page states,"Sonic Reality has put together a special bonus disc including many previously unreleased sounds for SampleTank 2.5 and it is only available here on esoundz!" So it looks like new stuff to me. I also feel confident that it is of a high quality.
I'm just curious as to what it is.

Thanks guys. I figured it out, at least enough for me to buy it. I guess I should have started there: "Just buy it!"

Bonus? What does it come with to qualify as a bonus? Last time I checked bonus material came free as an extra to entice you to buy the main thing. These seem like a bunch of cobbled together leftovers that you pay for - not a bonus. Sorry to argue semantics, but this is more bogus than bonus.

ok...there are TONS of companies you could bust on for what you're talking about but not Squids/esoundz.1-2-Many wrote:Bonus? What does it come with to qualify as a bonus? This WAS in fact created as an inclusive freebie with new ST2.5 purchases. However, they thought it was enough new or optimized material that they offered it for sale to current users who got the 2.5 update free.

Beergeek is correct. This set was first introduced as an extra for people who bought ST 2.5, and it was included for free with the with the SS2 GB, and offered for sale for those who didn't qualify for them as a freebie.
It is the same as if the Miroslov bonus material gets offered for sale for those who already have Philharmonik, didn't join the GB, but would like to purchase the bonus material.

Wow! I didn't mean to stir up anything!
Some of you guys need to lighten up! Don't like something? Don't buy it.
As for me, I ended up buying the Film Orhestra refill, vol. 15 I believe. Good stuff! There are only a couple of esoundz refills that I don't own, and that was one of them. I fixed that!

Sorry. I missed you completely! You even gave me emoticon prompts, and a compliment. Doh! Again, I'm sorry.
