Could I have you guys' thoughts on the Sampletank 2.5 Exclusive Bonus Disk? I think it looks cool, and I'm thinking about getting it. Can you tell me more details than the website gives? What ethnic instruments are in it? What orchestral sounds?

Hey Rev...I'll get you a contents list later today....
Play what you feel and feel what you play.

How does one even get the bonus disk? I'm not seeing anything on the website or in the download area.

It's basically a mix of Expansion Tanks it looks like - which is pretty cool, but I have them already :D

The web-page states,"Sonic Reality has put together a special bonus disc including many previously unreleased sounds for SampleTank 2.5 and it is only available here on esoundz!" So it looks like new stuff to me. I also feel confident that it is of a high quality.

I'm just curious as to what it is.

Thanks guys. I figured it out, at least enough for me to buy it. I guess I should have started there: "Just buy it!"

Sorry Rev...been slammed all day and I'm still away from my music computer...I'll try again later :-(

Bonus? What does it come with to qualify as a bonus? Last time I checked bonus material came free as an extra to entice you to buy the main thing. These seem like a bunch of cobbled together leftovers that you pay for - not a bonus. Sorry to argue semantics, but this is more bogus than bonus.

ok...there are TONS of companies you could bust on for what you're talking about but not Squids/esoundz.

This WAS in fact created as an inclusive freebie with new ST2.5 purchases. However, they thought it was enough new or optimized material that they offered it for sale to current users who got the 2.5 update free.

Flame on

Beergeek is correct. This set was first introduced as an extra for people who bought ST 2.5, and it was included for free with the with the SS2 GB, and offered for sale for those who didn't qualify for them as a freebie.

It is the same as if the Miroslov bonus material gets offered for sale for those who already have Philharmonik, didn't join the GB, but would like to purchase the bonus material.

RR for all the spamming I mean helpful regurgitation ;) of what is included in the SS2 Sonik Group Buy, I think they should give you free :-)

Wow! I didn't mean to stir up anything! :-o Some of you guys need to lighten up! Don't like something? Don't buy it.

As for me, I ended up buying the Film Orhestra refill, vol. 15 I believe. Good stuff! There are only a couple of esoundz refills that I don't own, and that was one of them. I fixed that! :D

not sure if you are referring to me. but if you were. You got me all wrong.
I was giving you a friendly nudge. a tease... sorry if it came out otherwise.....it was meant completely as a joke.
