what are they gonna do? play footsie all night?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

If you know my sound, you'll either be running extremely fast or turn into a salt pillar :hihi:

No footsie be happening!!!

italy vs. holland; doable

For those not on the inside, mystahr has developed a style of music mostly based on effect and pedal technology ( right mystahr?) so this set of of stompers would go right along with a fast running or a pillar of salt :-)

I just got a cool effect for christmas: a tweakalizer..very cool..and I don't use it for DJ stuff!

should take a pic of it installed in my studio however. Maybe during the week. :-)

It's actually pronounced, "FLOO 'shay" and is French for "It doesn't get better than this ".

Post

ahhh. really? i need to learn the french language.... i love baudelaire!! such good work all around. i've always wanted to be able to understand his native tongue enough to fully take it all in, as it was written. isn't there a punk band in france that performs baudelaire poems as songs?

(if you wonder why the baudelaire rant, "it doesn't get better than this" made me think of baudelaire staring out the window at some depressing fester, thinking of it all flushing away....) 8)

yeah.....that's what i was thinkin'............Image

If you have the space for it, you really should move your listening position because your current monitor placement is a sonic nightmare. If I'm not mistaken, that's a pair of BM15A's, which are mid to near-field, and should probably be spaced a further away from you and each other (a larger equilateral triangle, due to their size), and also, it's never a good idea to place monitors right up against a wall like that (or in the corner)--always allow at least 3~5 feet of space away from any walls or corners, or else you'll be drowning in all kinds of acoustic problems.

You said it, if I had the space. I live in Madrid and that is out of the question. Yes they are BM15A, I just got them the other day. I did not buy them for their power, i bought them because I liked how they sounded and the frequency response range they covered. In another words Im not blasting them I listen to them at very low volume. Just enough to listen and feel everything. I'm planning on getting my room acoustically treated. Then I'll buy some stands for them and place them a bit further back.
