Hi,
I started using EVE2 a lot more since I purchase Kore2 since my main problem with EVE has always been the patch management. In this bite me again here. What I mean is that the integration in between EVE and Kore works really nicely(you can control EVE with the hardware, sort patches by attributes in the Kore patch database and even morph in between of up to 8 varaition of the same bank), but the major problem happen when you want to change a sound from a slot or make preset from different bank, it simply do not load since I guess the sound/preset do not match with the bank that is load up at the moment.
Is this something you can fix from the preset management in EVE?
Do I have any workaround? Can I build my own bank out of the best patches of all the other bank that I will like to have in Kore and then only use that bank as default? But then I guess I will be limited to 128 presets?

I use Eve in KORE 2 and you can load and change banks from the Eve interface by clicking on the animated LCD area in the middle of the interface but I'm still on version 1 - has this changed in version 2 or something?

No, it's still there, EVE2 is fully fonctional when open inside Kore. My problem is to save patch inside Kore that belong to 2 different Bank inside EVE2. Only the patch that uses the last loaded Bank will work, the other will hang Kore2 on trying to load them up.
Are you able to achieve this? I mean let say you save a patch in Kore that uses Famous Keys 1 and then you save another one using Famous Keys 2, can you load both Kore pathces without problem?

I've not got round to trying to save KORESounds for EVE yet - maybe I'll try tomorrow but having v1 it may be different for me.

So... TDP work fine as long as you have a sound load up in each slot, I realize that if you have slot B empty when you save your patch then slot A will appear empty on next load up even if the sound will play, weird... anyway it's not much of a hassle to make sure to have something load up in B even if not using it...
And for EVE2, I realize that it doesn't crash Kore on patch load up if you do not open the EVE UI, otherwise playing in two different bank on the same Kore session will eventually hang it when trying to load a patch from a different bank...
Is it a problem on your end??
But anyway it is manageable since I end up not having to use the UI at all once all the parameters are map to the controller, just really annoying to have to manually kill Kore when it happen.

thanks for all these info, no Kore here to try that but it seems to me that maybe I have to change something on the GUI code of EVE to be it totally compatible, maybe the menu or the display update?

Thanks for the reply. Well I don't know really this is a weird issue... I can open the GUI in between Kore patches as long as I stay on patches using the same bank as soon as I tried to open a patch using another bank the Kore application hang. If I do not open the GUI at all then it is fine I can load any patches from any bank wihtout problem.
Could it have something to do with the fact that when I'm opening the GUI of any EVE Kore patches the bank is set to User Default instead of the original bank I loaded??
My workaround for now is to always close and restart Kore after I needed to open the GUI to make sure I won't have to manually kill it. But really I only have to open the GUI to load and browse new EVE bank patches before saving them to the Kore database, after that everything can be control through the controller so the issue is just annoying, but do not prevent from using it.
But in fact you can try for yourself, there is a demo of Kore on the Native Instrument website, it doesn't require the hardware to run.
