I used mine with XP MCE for a couple months without any problems. Then again, I have heard a lot of horror stories about using MCE on a DAW, yet I personally have never had a single problem in over a year using it.mellotronaut wrote:I read somewhere, it isn't compatible with Windows XP Media-Center....any experience with this?

yeah, it can take it, but not necessary. I read in the manual you can change the "pad curve" setting to deal with this (just like the knobs have an acceleration curve). There are 9 velocity response curves. It can be a fixed velocity too so maybe yours is set to a fixed value that is high.Caco wrote:You have to wack the pads pretty hard to use them but it is tough enough to take it.

the axiom 25 is now spreading its funny new odor in my studio
one thing though, maybe one of you can help...sampletank, sonik synth and miroslav orch standalone versions are not responding to the axiom pads. Keys work ok.
