copying files larger than 2 Go on receptor's disk (SOLVED)

I own a receptor pro , running the latest OS (1.6.20070717) .I also installed the log fixer so everything is "up to date".
I never had any installation problem 'til today and i've got plenty of great plugs installed.
I recently tried to install my Stylus RMX on receptor's hard disk. No problem copying the .dll at the right place, but
when it came to copying the data files (in fact, now, it' s the whole SAGE folder you have to copy), each time a file is larger than 2 Go, the copy stops at 2Go and I get a message saying "Couldn't complete copy, disk is full" . Needless to say my disk IS NOT full (155 Go free !).
I tried the same with atmosphere. The .dat file is also larger than 2 Go, and I had the same result. Is anybody aware of such limitation. Is there a way to fix this ? Thanks

Hi Nodra,

Are you copying your large files (.dat) from a Macintosh computer to Receptor? I think the Mac may have a file size limit that might be at issue when copying.

Have you tried using Muse's RMX/Atmosphere installers (from Plugarama), and then follow the directions for copying data files?

Sounds like you're using a Mac. I had same problem. You need to connect to the Receptor's hard drive using smb:// for the protocol, then it'll work fine.

Thanks a lot.
Yes, indeed i'm using a mac, but I never had this problem before .. .I'll try your solution. I might sound dumb, but i'm not sure i know how to do this .(using samba) Would you mind explaining, in case I don't succeed by myself ?

Thanks kevin,

Yes I tried the Plugorama installer before, but the installation failed.
Then I found that, with the latest OS, Muse didn't recommend using the "prep" installers anymore for Spectrasonics products, if the folders are already existing at the right place on the Receptor's hard disk, which is the case. I guess i'm gonna try connecting my mac with the smb protocol and see what happens.
