Jo,

Rather than a single poll for all the new features, can we have separate polls for each feature under consideration, with "Yes", "No" and "Don't Care" options? Rank the features by (number of votes in poll minus number of "No" votes), with "Don't Cares" being used to resolve any dead heats (i.e. being subtracted).

Far more fun :)

Nice idea!

I think however that there will be very few features that will get a "No" or "Don't care" ;)

Example:

Which feature do you want most:

* Integrated sampler
* Rewire Support
* Freeze
* Live Composition Switching

(this is an incomplete list, it's just an example)

I think most people will vote 4 x "Yes".

So which one is wanted most then?

I do appreciate your thinking about how to make the poll most interesting / informative!

If you got any other ideas...

Basically i would just list the main FRs which are on the whishlist.

Everyone can vote 1 time for his/her most wanted FR.

Then we can make a top 3 of 'winners' which will be implemented first.

(depending on the total number of votes, because the poll most be enough representive)

+1 for Freeze and Sampler :D

And don't forget Multicore support and Recording from midi keyboard (Step Recording) 8)

I really don't need ReWire support, but I vote yes for the other three features.

I have another FR also: a beat slicer like that on Computer Muzys or Muzys. It was a great creative tool.

Man, everyone's in a hurry. :) Maybe we should let Jo put together the real poll instead of responding to the example poll.

You can twist perceptions, reality won't budge.

That is why i am comming up with examples for the poll in this example thread :P

Rewire is for using Propellerhead Reason or Rebirth together with Mulab :)

All other three features pale in comparison to the internal sampler in my opinion, most notably freezing, the raison d'etre of which I never understood.
Live composition switching sounds opaque to me :? Is it like playroom?
Rewire would be nice for some people I guess (not to knock it). It's just cumbersome and not very "Occam's Razor" to me.

internal Sampler is where it's at! Think Muzys 0.9 (seriously!), and those who are after complex multisampling and format support can always use plug-in samplers.

(I admit it's a bit of a fetish of mine)

*waits for the poll* :hihi:
