Those are your two options I'm afraid. Those or try trawling around every music store you can on the incredible offchance there would be one!Maruuk wrote:Anybody know of any alternative sources for the units other than eBay ($300+ used) and Craig's list (which is useless here in the country)? For some weird reason, many music stores list them as coming back in stock in March (?)
Uh....YEAH!!Wouldn't it be cool if they just stripped out all the silly kiddy crap and just made it a pure midi controller?
Great! I'll have more details and some stuff to look at in the next few days. Quick question, did anyone ever manage to find a way to send the sysex messages to the eg/ag for lighting the frets?RunBeerRun wrote:An Ez-AG game? Sure sounds interesting.
Ooouuh... Sounds like just what Im after for my MUCH underused AG...RunBeerRun wrote:An Ez-AG game? Sure sounds interesting.
Fret lighting via sysex is in the MIDI implementation chart. If you got your unit 2nd-hand and don't have a manual, say so and someone will dig it up for you!axeclass wrote:Quick question, did anyone ever manage to find a way to send the sysex messages to the eg/ag for lighting the frets?
The knobs do not send MIDI.Sleepwalker wrote:Theres two rotary knobs on it, in the manual they are explained as on/of switch and volume. Has anyone figured out if the volume knob can send midi?
Pitch arm sends Pitch Wheel messages (14-bit), but its sort of "stepped" so it doesn't give you full continuous values, unfortunately! The pitch arm should perhaps also send midi. So that should perhaps give you 2 modulation sources..
