What happend with the Synthesiser Control Station mentioned earlier. Billy mentioned something about a Pc program that could even work on early computers. He was not happy with todays limits and wanted to make a control station that will basically turn up to 4 input keyboards into a proper master setup.

Marshall handed that project over to two unnamed dev companies a while back and I guess progress dried up or something?
Big big shame.

Bill Marshall had an Improviser spec on his web-page but he took it down when the devs "took it on".

Bill and I are a little worried too. AFAIK (and hope) development is still in progress, but it's awfully quite and they didn't respond to an email I send them weeks ago.spuddle wrote:You mean Improviser?maki wrote:What happend with the Synthesiser Control Station mentioned earlier. Just spoke with one of the programmers of Improvisor. They are definitely on track with the program, but the introduction of new software programming tools has delayed things a bit. But I feel confident now things are happening.

Nah... what can I say? It's been a while and it seems nothing is happening. The company who was (is?) willing to develop Improvisor, well it looks they have other priorities except Improvisor. I don't hear anything from them.
Are there still any people out there looking for Improvisor in some form or am I the only one? Please give your comment so I have an idea how many people still like this idea and I can contact the developers giving them some encouragement.
