D-Fusion, please try this:
-> right-click the background at the left/right of the transport panel
-> choose "toggle logfile state" so that logging is enabled
-> now try to scan ZebraCM
-> then quit MU.LAB and email me the most recent log-yyyymmdd-hhmmss.txt
-> right-click the background at the left/right of the transport panel
-> choose "toggle logfile state" so that logging is enabled
-> now try to scan ZebraCM
-> then quit MU.LAB and email me the most recent log-yyyymmdd-hhmmss.txt

I think my computer is playing tricks on me here, i enabled logging deleted the vst xml file in settings folder and did a rescan.
And now ZebraCM is working great
I have tried to make this work for 2 days, and now it suddenly worked out of nowhere

Strange indeed...
Good that it works now though.

jo you are the bomb digity. and this mu.lab program aint too bad either. i had to clean up the puddle of drool after i caught myself daydreaming of the time when mu.lab has crazy arrangement tools that say uuuuuh! cant touch this!muzycian wrote:Ok, i see what you mean now.> DiGiT < wrote:im using XP.

Yes, i was already thinking that it should be these posts.
I was confused because there are several topics mixed with each other.
I'm going to make a separate topic "About Parts and Sequences" because it's all not that simple, unfortunately.

Note that this function does not save the sequence as a midi file. The 'Save Sequence' function merely saves the sequence as a '.MuSequence' file type. In order to complete the Save Sequence function, you must enter a file name.tonAP wrote:actually I can't save a sequence: right mouse -> save seq -> new file
mulab tells something like 'not file chosen' or so.. (running XP)
In my opinion this function is not useful although the MuSequence file is more permanent than the clipboard.

"Merely" is probably the wrong word for the "meta-data enhanced sequence information" -- it's got the midi data inside is plus other gubbins, I reckon. See over on http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=203074 for more.jpumphandle wrote:Note that this function does not save the sequence as a midi file. Of course I entered a file name, but mulab didn't save it and the dialog box was just "No File Chosen". Can you try and tell me if you (anybody) can save the seq? What could I've been done wrong?
Thnx

I have not had a problem saving the sequence as a MuSequence file. Also I have saved it in one session and loaded into another session, so it seems to work for me. Did you click on New File after clicking on Save Seq?tonAP wrote:Hi

Ok ok it was the empty window: once "initialized" it found "home" (aka mulab folder) and now it can save/load **.MuSequence.
I didn't need it for the midi import/export, open/save session: the window was already focused on the mulab directory.. and i didn't move anything: MuLab folder is still there where i deziped it!
Now go and see what happened?
