Ultimate Sound Bank is offering Plugsound Pro for $99 (normally $299) until Jan 10th. Is it possible to run it on Receptor now? After the OS2.0 release? How about Fab Four? I'd rather not spend the money if Receptor can't handle the installation. Thanks for your input.

Hi TSH,
USB's old plugs (1.0) are user-installable on Receptor. This included Plugsound Pro (1.0) Charlie, UltraFocus, etc.
It's unclear whether the new USB 2.0 engine will port on Receptor (I haven't heard of anyone user-installing it). USB said at one time that they will port their plugs on Receptor, but USB seem pretty unresponsive to questions. You might wish to call Muse to see if they know about any progress.
Regarding Fab Four, I doubt these are user-installable. I am hoping that these run on Receptor at some point though.
Regards,
Kevin L

I heard in February that the Receptor can not run USB plugsound pro because it does not support OpenGL. This is a pity, because they make nice samples!
I wonder if Muse considers to support OpenGL... (it would make more sense if USB makes a plugin without OpenGL)

Thanks for the info. Maybe this will be fixed with OS 2.0

I heard directly from USB that Plugsound Pro is not compatible with Receptor. This is odd, since Plugsound Free comes pre-installed on the receptor, and freebies are usually come-ons used to sell you up to the full product.
Between Plugsound Pro and Komplete 5 not working on the receptor I just bought, I have major buyer's remorse on the Receptor.
