hello,
working on a song i noticed the following:
1/ can the overload meter turn off everytime you stop ?
2/ -i have a second monitor where i put my racks, it is located left of my primary monitor- but when i right click there, the pop-up window displays at the farleft of my primary monitor...
3/ is it possible to display values, instead/ontop of "just" a slider and b) is is also possible to enter values instead of "just" turn ?
4/ undo (like in CTRL+Z) doesn't always work (most of the time not), i always have to go to the edit menu
5/ when i switch between racks+part view & rack+parts+modular view, the rack view jumps to my primary monitor ; is it possible to retain all the windows ? (WITH the song ?)
6/ damping of Muverb only goes to 70% ??
7/ a solo button would be highly appreciated
8/ if i plug in a VST in the master section (a VU meter from Starplugs[DOT]com http://www.starplugs.com/sess/utn;jsess ... shopscript
then the master output turns to MONO (only LEFT), when i disable the plugin, output is still MONO (L+R)
9/ a file browsing (auto)play feature would make a world of difference...
10/ if you copy a lot of parts, why doesn't your view scroll to the right or left if you "pick up" the parts to be copied with your mouse and roll with it ?? now i have to make sure i "see" the empty space before/after the parts i want to copy and then i can Move+copy ...
apologies for the longlist

Me too on most of those!
7 -- where are you after a solo button?
8 -- sounds like the VST isn't properly declaring its in/outputs, if I remember a previous response correctly.

hello jones,
7// preferabely in the rack / secondary in the parts/song screen / third in the audio/note/event editor
8// probably thats the case, -it was a free VST-, it comes at some price
nothing is free anymore

It does do that!tiger001 wrote:hello,

Multi monitor support will be researched in more detail asap.2/ -i have a second monitor where i put my racks, it is located left of my primary monitor- but when i right click there, the pop-up window displays at the farleft of my primary monitor...
Where do you mean?3/ is it possible to display values, instead/ontop of "just" a slider and b) is is also possible to enter values instead of "just" turn ?
Very strange.4/ undo (like in CTRL+Z) doesn't always work (most of the time not), i always have to go to the edit menu
The only reason i can think off is that some plugin is taking the keyboard focus.
In that case, other keys like spacebar (=play/stop) won't work either.
Is that the case?

Indeed.6/ damping of Muverb only goes to 70% ??
Where?7/ a solo button would be highly appreciated
Because the plugin IS mono (i assume).8/ if i plug in a VST in the master section (a VU meter from Starplugs[DOT]com http://www.starplugs.com/sess/utn;jsess ... shopscript
then the master output turns to MONO (only LEFT), when i disable the plugin, output is still MONO (L+R)
Don't they have a stereo version?
On the whishlist.9/ a file browsing (auto)play feature would make a world of difference...
On the whishlist.10/ if you copy a lot of parts, why doesn't your view scroll to the right or left if you "pick up" the parts to be copied with your mouse and roll with it ?? now i have to make sure i "see" the empty space before/after the parts i want to copy and then i can Move+copy ...
No problemapologies for the longlist

thx for the swift & thorough replys,
3// entering/seeing a value in the rack for sliders/pan would make things a little more controlable, now it is more or less "on the fly" (especially if you want to compare two settings) - b) entering a value in the MuLab EFX would speed up things a little (especially if u know were u want to go)
4// could be, i will look after it that i maintain right focus...
8// the plugin is working fine in wavelab 4.0 ; it is a stereo VU meter, the strange thing was that although output was mono, the meters were giving a different signal for L or R, so input was stereo i guess // no big thing //
thx again!

If you switch to the MPA (press Tab on Rackdesk), and plugin that vu meter there, then do you see 1 or 2 red (=audio) inputs for that plug?

Thanks.
The problem is that this plugin is saying that:
-> it has 2 vst input pins and 2 vst output pins (note: a vst pin IS always single channel!)
-> then it tells that the 2 input pins form a single stereo input jack
-> then it also tells that the 2 output pins are 2 separate mono output jacks.
And it is especially thevery last reason why you hear mono.
It would be much more logical when the plug would declare its output as a stereo output, just like the input. And then everything would work like expected.
MU.LAB is very accurate regarding multi-channels.
2 x mono = 2 x mono.
mono = mono.
It would be great if you would send an email to the developers of this plug, asking why they do the output as 2 x mono instead of 1 x stereo.
