I noticed that I can't delete a plug from the vst manager using the delete key in the mac version like you can in the windows version. How's this done on a mac?

Post

Normally it should work equally on osx and windows.

Can't check it out in detail now at the moment, got a severe mac HD crash a couple of days ago :(

Can't get any right click command on this one either. I'm surprised this hasn't been reported before. :?:

Gothboy, just checking: do you press "backspace" or "delete" in the plugin manager?

It should be the delete key.

No right-click support yet in the Plugin Manager, that's on the whishlist.

If you really want/need to delete plugins from the plugin manager, and the delete key doesn't work, you could alternatively do this:

-> quit luna
-> goto your luna/settings folder
-> open the vstplugins.xml file
-> now delete the proper vstplugins elements (hope you understand the xml structure, it's very logical)
-> save the file
-> restart luna

I'm using the "Delete" key. I'll try the alternate method. When is the next version coming out?
Mac Pro Quad 2.66 GHz. 9GB RAM
Snow Leopard 10.6.8/Pro Tools 8.0.5/Digi 002R
Live 9.1
Predator, Subboombass

Post

Coming 28 september.

Note that it will be beta version.

Also note that due to the mac HD crash (the bastard was only 1.5 year old), it's not yet certain that the osx version will make it by then.

Interestingly enough, This does not work either. I can highlight the text info that I want to delete but I can't select "cut" from the drop down nor can I use the "delete" key. Hummm. This needs a fix!

In which application did you open the xml file?

You need to open it in an application that can edit it, not only view it.

I recommend a simple, basic text editor. Always best to make a backup of the file first!

If you're not familiar with editing an xml file then

-> do a google for some basic info on xml

or

-> wait until the "delete" issue is fixed (can't check it now, no mac here)
